Astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is an orange-red pigment which is found in salmon, shrimp, krill, lobster, crab, and some types of algae. Astaxanthin is a type of carotenoid and is one of the most powerful antioxidants available in nature. It is thought to help with inflammation, brain and hearth health, physical performance and recovery, and possibly some of the effects of aging.
